Director: Professor Emily Hilder

An eminent analytical chemist, Professor Hilder’s own research focuses on the design and application of new polymeric materials used to improve analytical measurements including separations, environmental, food and bio-analysis.

Professor Hilder is one of the most influential women in the analytical sciences. She has held a place on the Analytical Scientist’s ‘Power List’ from 2013-17 and is a fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering and the Royal Australian Chemical Institute. Professor Hilder is Deputy Director of the Australia Research Council Training Centre for Portable Analytical Separation Technologies (ASTech) and Deputy Director of the Australian Research Council Research Hub for Integrated Device for End-user Analysis and Low Levels (IDEAL).
